‘To The Bone’ Trailer Highlights A Socially Relevant Topic

“To The Bone” has Lily Collins in a transformative, possibly breakthrough role.

“To The Bone” brings attention to anorexia as Ellen (Lily Collins), a young woman coping with the disease, finds hope through an unconventional doctor (Keanu Reeves) and a group of others suffering from eating disorders. Making its way to Netflix in July, this is a film that has potential to bring attention to the disease as well as Lily Collins for her devotion to a physically challenging role.

A few months ago we had the opportunity to speak with the co-founder of the production company behind this film, Matthew Malek. As powerful as this trailer may be, Matthew discussed the response this film has received at various festivals already.
This film should be an indicator of what to expect from Foxtail Entertainment from both the message it sends and the balancing act of social significance and engagement.

In addition to Lily Collins and Keanu Reeves, “To The Bone” also stars Carrie Preston (“True Blood”) who plays a more parental role in the film. The film is set to release on July 14, 2017.
