Disney fans have been keeping their eye on “Beauty and the Beast” and the trailer dropped today. With Emma Watson playing the iconic Belle, Dan Stevens as Beast, and Luke Evans as Gaston, I’m more than curious to see how these characters will be portrayed. Take a look at the trailer below.
We’ve seen quite a few animated to live-action adaptations from Disney. Cinderella and The Jungle Book are just two of Disney’s success stories with this type of venture. Now with “Beauty and the Beast” and an even bigger star-studded cast, they can most likely bank on that same level of success.
The stars of the film have the spotlight at the moment. But with names like Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, and Kevin Kline attached, the supplemental performances should also garner attention.
“Beauty and the Beast” has a release date set for March 17, 2017.
