Arnold Schwarzenegger makes his return as the Terminator in “Terminator Genisys!” The full trailer was released today and it looks much better than others have thought. Take a look below and tell us what you think.
With the films that followed James Cameron’s “Terminator” franchise, many have lost hope for future films. With the upcoming fifth installment of the franchise, I have to say that this trailer makes it look much better than the previous two films. With the time travel element involving Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) and Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), “Terminator Genisys” is following closely to the original story that made the James Cameron films so popular.
An Aged Arnold in “Terminator Genisys”
From what I can tell this seems to make the time traveling scenario very intriguing. Taking elements from “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” “Terminator Genisys” seems to explore the idea that the Terminators can be time traveling to the same point again and repeat their main objective. This could even give a proper explanation for an aged Arnold Schwarzenegger as a Terminator. There may be some confusion if they explore the time traveling scenario too much but this could definitely make this film the best to follow “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” if they play their cards right. This has definitely made its place on my radar.
