Second ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Trailer Takes Ana And Christian To New Sexual Heights
The second “Fifty Shades Darker” trailer arrives reuniting Ana and Christian in their sexual exploration.
“Fifty Shades Darker” emerges with a second trailer that’s heavy on sex but lighter on the kink. Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan return to their respective roles in a story that seems to rekindle their broken relationship. Check out the borderline NSFW trailer below.
In the first film things got a bit extreme which resulted in some relationship troubles between Christian and Ana. Known for its provocative sexual content, “Fifty Shades of Grey” caught the attention of many. With things a bit more fragile, it’s uncertain if “Fifty Shades Darker” will be more risque. With sequels it’s norm to go for a bigger bang (pun intended), but with the film’s sexual subject matter, I’m not sure they could take things further.
“Fifty Shades Darker” seems to take a more introspective look at Christian rather than elaborating upon the sexual aspects. There’s a bit of foreshadowing revealing Christian’s complex past. Kim Basinger is playing the role of Elena Lincoln, Christian’s former lover and business partner. As shown in the trailer, it seems like she has some details to reveal about the mysteries of Christian. This could lead to an interesting development in Ana and Christian’s relationship.
In addition to Christian’s troubles, Ana is also having visions of her own. A mysterious girl is continuously appearing in the dark which is believed to be a former lover of Christian’s. With new characters being introduced, it’s difficult to foresee their impact, but it does show the “Fifty Shades” films are taking a different direction than the first.
