Read MoreCarrie Fisher had been in intensive care since suffering a massive heart attack on December 23rd. She was aboard an 11-hour flight from London to Los Angeles when she went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital shortly after landing. While her brother Todd Fisher left us optimistic stating that she was “out of emergency” and stabilized, she unfortunately passed at 8:55 PST this morning. Spokesman for the family, Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher’s daughter, read a statement shortly after.
