“Fallout 4” is getting a visual makeover in the next patch!
An update for “Fallout 4” is focused on visuals for PC and PS4 Pro players. The update (1.9 on PS4 Pro) will add native 1440p resolution, enhanced Godray effects (the bits of light coming through clouds or trees) and enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects and, perhaps NPCs. PS4 Pro users will have to make sure that they set aside time and space for the extra 58GB of hard drive space. In addition to the hard drive space, PC users will have to hope that their machines can handle the update. Bethesda is saying to try regardless.
“If your system can handle it, the Commonwealth will look better than ever. Give it a shot and if you need to return to the original textures, you can disable them within the game’s launcher menu.”
As many know with PC gaming, there aren’t necessarily “hard numbers” when it comes to specs and requirements. Bethesda has provided their recommended specs for PC “Fallout 4” players, but your mileage may vary.
Recommended PC Specs:
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Intel Core i7-5820K or better
GTX 1080 8GB
8GB+ Ram
