“London Has Fallen” stars show their military appreciation with special screenings at multiple bases.
Just recently we interviewed Angela Bassett as she made a stop at Virginia’s Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek to attend a special screening of “London Has Fallen.” Enthusiastically and graciously she met with fans and military-alike who were just as enthusiastic about meeting her and watching the film. Every person she spoke with and every autographed poster she signed was accompanied by a genuine smile.
In addition to her appearance, the film’s star Gerard Butler also shared his enthusiasm for the troops attending a special screening in California at Camp Pendleton. He was so moved by the troops and the fans that he even accepted an invitation from a Marine to attend the Marine Corps Ball as her date.
Mr. Butler accepted one female Marine’s invitation to accompany her to the upcoming Marine Corps Ball.
Finally Aaron Eckhart, the U.S. President in “London Has Fallen,” attended a screening at California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base. Eckhart was honored by the base as well accepting an induction into the Vanderberg Air Force Base Hall of Fame and in turn had his name solidified by receiving his Star on the Walk.
Overall “London Has Fallen” was screened in 18 different military bases stateside and 1 in Kuwait gearing up to the March 4 release date. In addition to the cast mentioned above, the film also stars Morgan Freeman who portrays the Vice President of the United States.
