Leaked: Jason Momoa’s Aquaman Gets Wet in ‘Justice League’ Set Photos
Commonly considered a “super” push-over, Aquaman gets a beefier and more bad@ss look in the alodged leaked photos from the set of Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ film.
While the Internet-hosted battle over the reception and direction of ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ rages on, Warner Bros moves forward with its growing superhero universe. Thanks to Twitter user @NightHawkJ2, DCEU fans (and haters), are treated to a splashing surprise with alleged leaked set photos showcasing Jason Momoa’s fictional ocean master in action.

Momoa’s Aquaman, while true to the more modern comic adaptations of the Atlantean monarch, is definitely bigger, badder and armored than ever before. In the leaked ‘Justice League’ set photos we catch a glimpse of Momoa in full costume, see him weilding the signature trident (or penta-dent…), and, judging by the green screen riddled pool area, we also get an idea of the scope of CGI that will be involved for his scenes. While there seems to be a tsunami of special effects in store for audiences, fans do get to see that Momoa himself will be mostly untouched, carching him in some golden armor and appropriately scaled tatoos. Momoa rose to popularity from the success of his brutish, yet beloved, character Khal Drogo from HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones.’ Overall, this will definitely be an Aquaman that didn’t get bullied on the maritime school yard.
The character is set to appear in Zack Snyder’s (‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’) ‘Justice League’ is set to hit theaters on November 17, 2017. The ‘Aquaman’ solo film, which is being directed by James Wan, is slated to premiere in 2018.

The set photos are allegedly from the set of the current ‘Justice League’ production, there has been no official confirmation or denial of the leak. Many believe the set photos to be from the Aquaman scene from ‘Batman V Superman.’ The ‘Justice League’ concept art has been revealed as a companion to the digital HD release of the ‘Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition,’ showcasing the entire team: Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
