Latest ‘Rogue One’ Poster And Trailer Give Us More ‘Star Wars’ Glory
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is almost here but for now we have a trailer and poster!
The poster featured above falls into a classic “Star Wars” theme. Following a pyramid structure, it brings the focus to the hero (Jyn Erso) followed by subsequent characters. To supplement the official poster, comes a brand new trailer for “Rogue One.” If you’re excited for the film already, be prepared to elevate that excitement. Check out the new trailer with new footage below.
Despite the bad press received from reshoots, I’m still excited for this film. Partially because I’m an obsessive “Star Wars” fan and partially because of the story. This is a first of its kind given that it’s a “Star Wars” film outside of the continued storyline. There’s a lot riding on this film but already it’s unlike anything George Lucas has done with the story.
All of the “Star Wars” films thus far have had their focus on the Skywalker lineage. Even with the unanswered questions from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the story was still focused on the map to Skywalker. We could be proven wrong if the story surprises us with Skywalker ties (besides Vader). But for now we’ll just have to wait until December 16, 2016.
