Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Reese Witherspoon, and Owen Wilson star in the first trailer for “Inherent Vice.”
With the star power in “Inherent Vice” it could be the next “American Hustle.” This crime drama has a very unique feel to it with the esteemed Director Paul Thomas Anderson behind the camera and the screenplay. Check out the first trailer for the film below.
I love Joaquin Phoenix and would probably see “Inherent Vice” for his attachment alone, but then they add other stars like Josh Brolin, Reese Witherspoon, and Owen Wilson which makes this film a must-see. “Inherent Vice” seems to follow the same strategy as “American Hustle” by overloading the film with A-List cast members to attract audiences. In addition to the concentration of cast members, it also falls into the same genre with a quirky edge.
“Inherent Vice” releases January 9, 2015 which unfortunately puts it just outside of being an Oscar contender for next year.
