It’s Morphin Time! The Final ‘Power Rangers’ Trailer Is Here
Final ‘Power Rangers’ Trailer is Here
The release of ‘Power Rangers’ is now only two months away and the final trailer has arrived. Kids of the 80s had ‘Transformers’ and ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.’ Now it’s the kids of the 90s turn to get their nostalgic properties adapted for the big screen.
This trailer is a vast improvement over the previous one. While it was perfectly understandable for the filmmakers to give a feeling of mystery for the first trailer, the fact is the fans had very little to go on. Sure we got some brief footage of Rita Repulsa but there were no zords, no action shots and we didn’t even get to see the rangers morph.
This new trailer at least gives people more of an idea of what they’re in for once it comes out. We’ve got the first footage of the rangers in action, the zords, Rita’s most powerful henchman from the show Goldar, Alpha and most importantly in my opinion Bryan Cranston as Zordon. Admittedly, the design of Goldar and the zords leave much to be desired but I, as a ‘Power Rangers’ fan choose to remain cautiously optimistic.
Power Rangers has brought me a few karate students over the years. I’ve kept up with the franchise a bit, and am impressed with some of the fight choreography that’s been featured on the show. The trailers haven’t given me a decent taste as to whether or not the fight choreography in the film will be enough to interest me. Its a movie I want to be excited for, but its leaving me cold. The fan made Rangers film with James van dre Beek was much more interesting.
