‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2’ Superbowl Trailer Introduces Yondu As A Guardian
Superbowl Sunday brings a new “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” trailer.
While many are anticipating a win from either the Falcons or the Patriots, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” scored big with a brand new trailer. Highlighting each character, introducing us to some new ones, and converting the bad to good, this trailer touts a lot of fun for this expected Marvel sequel.
The most intriguing aspects of this trailer are Yondu and Mantis. Mantis is a new character with psychic abilities we saw briefly introduced in the last trailer. This trailer brings a bit more context to her character, but for the most part she still remains a mystery.
Yondu is the biggest reveal in this trailer. While we know his character from the first “Guardians of the Galaxy,” there was more than a bit of animosity between him and Star Lord. With a rather vulgar welcome from Baby Groot, we now see that Yondu will be added to the roster.
