The M. Night Shyamalan trilogy is about to be connected!
In an announcement made on Twitter today, Director M. Night Shyamalan announced that the next film in the “Unbreakable” and “Split” series will be titled “Glass.” But while fans are still feeling the “Split” excitement, the anticipation will continue to build for “Glass” as Shyamalan also announced a January 2019 release date.
Universal Pictures will release #Glass on January 18, 2019 all over the world. How’s that for not keeping a secret!

If you haven’t seen it by now then I apologize for the spoiler, but “Split” confirmed a direct connection to “Unbreakable” at the end of the film. This is arguably one of M. Night Shyamalan’s best “twist” endings as it genuinely caught audiences off guard. With the surprise cameo of Bruce Willis’ character David Dunn in “Split,” many have been anticipating this next installment now officially known as “Glass.”
Given the name, we can expect both Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson to reprise their roles. The inclusion of The Beast (James McAvoy) is also expected to be included in the film but it is uncertain in what capacity.
With “Glass” being a little less than two years away, speculation should continue to build as well as anticipation.
