UPDATE: The video has been confirmed as a fake!
Did someone just leak the first look at Spider-Man in “Avengers: Age of Ultron?”
In a possible “leaked” video of the after credits scene of Avengers: Age of Ultron, we may have just seen the scene we’ve been waiting for. Although it’s been said that Spider-man’s first appearance would be in Captain America: Civil War, if this clip is real, then he may be introduced in “Age of Ultron.” Take a look at the clip below to decide for yourself and oh yeah…SPOILER ALERT!
I’m pretty familiar with what a “leak” looks like and this seems pretty legit to me. If it’s not a leak then someone spent a lot of time to get the setting right for the film by including Avengers tower and the smooth and creative reveal of Spider-Man.
If this is the actual reveal of Spider-Man then I have to say that I am very pleased with the way that they have portrayed the character. He’s got the usual Spider-Man playfulness with a little bit of sarcastic snark. The costume also seems to follow the traditional Marvel fashion with the same patterns and colors that we’re used to seeing when gazing upon Spider-Man wall crawling throughout New York City.
On the other side of the coin, Joss Whedon has been hinting that there will be no after credits scene in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” so does this mean he was trying to add the surprise element or was he telling the truth? If Spider-Man is being introduced in “Age of Ultron” then that could mean that he’ll have a much bigger role in “Captain America: Civil War” than expected. He may have a big role in the actual battle rather than just being a reveal towards the end of the film. Either way, this is a very exciting time for comic book fans!
