Ellen Degeneres was highlight of “Finding Nemo” so it makes perfect sense that the sequel “Finding Dory” would involve her story. Last year the synopsis for the film was revealed and now we have a trailer showing Dory in action.
In addition to the first film’s original stars Albert Brooks and Ellen Degeneres, “Finding Dory” will be packing some star power with some high profile names joining the cast. Stars of HBO’s The Wire Idris Elba and Dominic West will be reunited to lend their voices to the film for some currently unknown roles. They will also be joined by the great Diane Keaton who will be voicing Jenny, Ed O’Neill and Ty Burrell (“Modern Family”) voicing Hank and Bailey, and Kaitlin Olsen (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”).
With such a diverse cast and a preceding reputation from “Finding Nemo,” “Finding Dory” is going to be on the radar for both nostalgic children and adults. From what we can see from the trailer, it looks like there is a lot in store for those looking to supplement the journey of “Finding Nemo” as well as something for new audiences.
“Finding Dory” is currently slated for a 2016 release but no official date as of yet.
