Daniel Bruhl is Captain America’s next villain

“Rush” and “Inglourious Basterds” star Daniel Bruhl is set to play a villain in “Captain America: Civil War.”

While the details of his role are minimal, Daniel Bruhl will be a part of Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War.” Bruhl will join Chris Evans as Captain America and new hero Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther in the upcoming film. For now we can only speculate as to which villain he will play.

Daniel Bruhl is set to play the villain role in the next Captain America: Civil War, the one that will also bring Robert Downey Jr. and his Iron Man character as central to the conflict of the new film.

Civil War

Daniel Bruhl has been critically praised in numerous roles. From his initial exposure in “Inglourious Basterds” to his starring role as Niki Lauda in “Rush,” he has proven himself as a potential front runner for film. With the continuous popularity of superhero films, being apart of anything Marvel is a great idea for any actor’s career. I would like to think that his role would be a bigger role but with so many lead characters in “Captain America: Civil War,” I’m curious as to where they will find room to fit him in. Could his character be an integral part of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Only time will tell.

Who do you think Daniel Bruhl will play in “Captain America: Civil War?”
