We now know the full cast for Andy Serkis’ “Jungle Book: Origins!”
We recently announced that Benedict Cumberbatch would voice Shere Khan. Now The Hollywood Reporter revealed the full cast of the upcoming “Jungle Book” adaptation.
The Cast:
- Rohan Chand – Mowgli
- Andy Serkis – Baloo the bear
- Christian Bale – Bagheera the panther
- Benedict Cumberbatch – Shere Khan the tiger
- Cate Blanchett – Kaa the snake
- Tom Hollander – Tabaqui the jackal
- Peter Mullan – Akela the wolf
- Naomie Harris – Nisha the wolf
For those unfamiliar with Rohan Chand, he was the child co-star of “Bad Words” alongside Jason Bateman. He will voice the film’s starring role of Mowgli.
The other cast members are just as big as the Favreau film’s cast. Andy Serkis may not be able to be a crowd pleaser like Bill Murray voicing Baloo but he does have the experience as a voice actor to challenge Bill with his experience. As for the rest of the cast, many will be drawn to “Jungle Book: Origins” for the big names like Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett. When it comes to both Jon Favreau’s and Andy Serkis’ adaptations, it seems like they are sparing no expense for their casting.
