Camp X-Ray second trailer reveals Kristen Stewart’s character origin
“Camp X-Ray” has been gaining a lot of buzz and this new trailer shows why that may be.
Kristen Stewart may be known as Bella from the “Twilight” franchise but she is attempting to show her versatility with “Camp X-Ray.” The film touches on the very controversial subject of the treatment of detainees of Guantanamo Bay and the legal loopholes that exist allowing such treatment. Take a look at the latest trailer below.
This trailer for “Camp X-Ray” reveals a more dynamic character than what we’ve seen from the first trailer. We see a character that came to help at Guantanamo due to her belief that she would be doing something inherently good. That belief is put to the test as she sees the treatment of captives and the harsh environments in which they are living.
There are also multiple relationships hinted at in this trailer. There’s a brief glimpse at a love scene between Stewart and another character and also another possible connection with one of the detainees. The relationship with the detainee could be entirely platonic or formed from a combination of guilt and pity. There is one key moment that could be speculated as something more when Stewart reaches her hand into his cell to hold his, but that is still highly speculated.
