The official movie poster for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” has been revealed!
With March steadily approaching, it seems like May 1st is just around the corner. We’ve had multiple clips and trailers thus far but this is the first time that we have seen the official movie poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Take a look at the poster below!
It seems like this poster falls very much in line with the first “Avengers” film. Many of the same colors and fonts exist in the poster with a few subtle character additions in the background. Iron Man and Captain America are front and center and this is probably intended to push your focus towards them for the upcoming “Civil War” film. Hawkeye, Nick Fury, and Black Widow are off to the left given that their involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is mainly limited to Avengers specific plot items. The Hulk can’t help but stand out no matter where you put him and Thor stands just slightly smaller to the right given his upcoming third film, “Thor: Ragnarok.”
It’s also nice to see a small spot for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver but it’s driving me nuts to keep seeing Vision hidden in the background. It’s leading me to believe that Vision’s appearance will be more brief than we expect and I’m curious to see how much screen time he will actually get. He’s an extremely unique character and (based on the comics) should play a pivotal role in defeating Ultron. Regardless of that fact, I think that “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is looking as if it could be twice as good as the first film and can’t wait for May 1st.
