Most of my stories of movie watching involve my dad, but for ‘Planet of the Apes’ I associate it with my mom. We happen to catch the original “Planet of the Apes” on TV. Afterwards, we decided to pick up the other films. Over the course of the following weekends we slowly bought the other movies. Just when things get quiet again Pennywise returns as a new ‘IT’ trailer drops. Yes Stephen King’s iconic book starring the famous clown, Pennywise seems to be creating quite the hype for itself. ‘Twin Peaks’ has triumphantly returned to TV with Showtime and the response has been encouraging! The only problem is that I do not have a subscription for Showtime. I plan to get one, but not until the season concludes so I can watch it all in one sitting. About a year ago I watched the original “Twin Peaks” on Netflix and quickly understood why so many people loved it. So before I watch “The Return” I thought I’d get myself hyped while watching “Fire Walk With Me.”

BBC has officially announced that the new Doctor from the iconic series “Doctor Who” will be played by Jodie Whittaker. Today the BBC has revealed in a video who will play our new Doctor, actress Jodi Whittaker. You can view the trailer here. The last time they recast the Doctor with Peter Capaldi. While he does have his fans many felt it was time for a different approach and were disappointed a woman wasn’t cast. Well the BBC seemed to take that to heart and made the change this time. Jodie Whittaker is best known as one of the leads of “Broadchurch.”
