Read MoreEven for completionists, there is little point to seeing this movie. There are some interesting ideas that show this COULD have possibly worked but it never truly went far enough. The film takes the things that didn’t work in the original and multiplies them while worsening other parts. See the original, it’s a classic! Skip this one unless you’re like me and always feel compelled to see obscure sequels.

It’s staggering to think about how many specials have been made for this holiday. Some are terrible and we rightly forget about them but then there are those that deserve some love but fell through the cracks. I had more to talk about but, couldn’t unify them under a good theme that made sense for all of them so I took the ones I most wanted to talk about and figured out the common link of them. I’m fine with going for quality over quantity. Oh and SPOILERS, lot’s of SPOILERS.

While it may be a spoof that couldn’t have come into existence without “Star Wars” it does stand on its own. For many who watch the film, it is as prominent and loved as the trilogy itself. I give it 4 stars out of 5. May the schwartz be with you.
