‘Kong: Skull Island’ Trailer Debuts At SDCC 2016

Fans have debated on the two for years, one thing Godzilla has always had over Kong is the sheer number of movies that extend to modern times. Well it now looks as though we’ll have a new Kong film for this new era of movies. Rejected “Deadpool” Designs Surface

“Deadpool” won the hearts of fans and non-fans alike, the box office, critics and… everyone, let’s just say everyone at this point. In many people’s opinion a large part is due to how accurate the film was to Deadpool himself in character and visual design. Sure many things can be more important than getting the look right, but it’s always feels like a good indicator that the filmmakers want to really make the best adaptation possible when they do. Another interesting thing to do is seeing other versions we could have gotten. Most are aware that Robert Rodriguez was wanted for the director’s chair for some time. Less well-known is “Kick-Ass 2” director Jeff Wadlow’s attempt.

Studio Ghibli’s New Film “The Red Turtle” Announced

First it will be call “The Red Turtle” and is fascinatingly enough directed not by one of the studio’s own, but by an outsider. The dutch director Michaël Dudok de Wit who previously directed the 2000 Oscar-winning short “Father and Daughter” has teamed up with Studio Ghibli to bring us a new film. It’s about a man lost on a deserted island trying to escape until meeting a red turtle and woman (who might be the same from the trailer) and the life he forms. I know it sounds like I’m a little unsure and that’s only because I am as the trailer like the film is practically dialog free.
