Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller is The Flash’s Captain Cold

CW programming keeps building hype with “Arrow” adding Brandon Routh to the cast as The Atom and now “The Flash” is adding another big name. Wentworth Miller (“Prison Break”) has been cast as Captain Cold in the upcoming series.
Captain Cold is one of The Flash’s main rivals throughout the comics. If it wasn’t obvious in the name, his powers are cold related with the ability to freeze his foes with a piece of specialized weaponry. I’m sure that Wentworth Miller will do great as the villain and fans of “Prison Break” will follow “The Flash” coming this fall.
I am hoping they can correctly inject some seriousness into Flash’s overly goofy and superficial world. Most of his villains are dartboard renditions of “what can stop someone super fast?”. Waiting for the Captain Boomerang announcement….. uhg >_>
I am a fan of where Arrow and The Justice League cartoon series has taken the character recently. He is still far more lighthearted than Batman or Green Arrow but he offers a sense of humility to the team. The Flash series rightfully should be the prop-up for the Justice League movie/tv show.
