Seth Rogen cast as Steve Wozniak in Steve Jobs Biopic
Seth Rogen to star opposite Christian Bale in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs Biopic!
According to Variety, Seth Rogen has been cast as Steve Wozniak in Sony’s version of a Steve Jobs biopic. Seth Rogen will star alongside Christian Bale who stars as Steve Jobs himself. Sony also has their eye on Jessic Chastain but the role is still unknown.
Seth Rogen is an interesting choice to say the least. The last non-comedic role that Seth Rogen has taken on was “Donnie Darko” and since then he’s been one of the most typecast actors in the business. That’s not to say that he isn’t talented but it does make him a more than interesting choice for Apple’s co-founder.

We have seen strong comedic actors transition in the recent past. Seth Rogen could be taking a play from Jonah Hill who has already received two Oscar nominations for his roles in “Moneyball” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Hopefully Rogen can gain some perspective and experience from working with talented people like Christian Bale and Danny Boyle. This could be a role that redefines yet another typecast actor.
