Aquaman appearance revealed along with possible movie plot
Now we know what Aquaman will look like and possible plot details for his appearance in “Batman v Superman.”
According to Schmoes Know, we finally have some details regarding Aquaman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Based on their description of the character, it makes Jason Momoa a more than perfect fit for the character. Instead of the scaly green and orange character that we’re familiar with, we’re going to get more of a rugged surfer figure with tribal tattoos.
So the first bit of news is that he’s going to look like a surfer essentially with tribal tattoos and all that jazz. Nothing huge and pretty obvious but for those of you wondering, that’s what we hear he’ll look like in the film, which makes sense since it’s Momoa playing the character.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I think this is a perfect way to introduce Aquaman without backlash. Many find the surfer culture interesting and more spiritual which has been proven to adapt well to the big screen. Also I don’t think that a character dressed as the classic Aquaman would look right standing side by side with Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, they need a character with an edge.
As for the next bit of information, it may be a little far fetched but it would be very cool if it were true. Apparently a scene in “Man of Steel” has been linked to Aquaman. The scene where Clark saves a group on the oil rig out in the ocean may have ties to the Atlantean. When Clark falls with the rest of the rig and is underwater surrounded by whales, some are saying that those whales were sent by Aquaman to check on Clark. Some even go as far to say that the whales helped him back to land.
You remember that scene in Man of Steel when after Supes saves the men on the oil rig and collapses into the water, he wakes up at some point and sees whales above him?
Well apparently all those rumors that they may have been sent from Aquaman are right. Apparently, Aquaman sent the whales to save Supes and make sure he was okay, which makes sense considering we never actually see how Supes gets back to shore in the film. He sees the whales and then it cuts to him walking on land, which could mean they were saving the swim back for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
This would be very cool news if it is true! I love how Marvel has found a way to connect each of their films and it would be nice to see that DC is attempting to do the same in order to connect the Justice League film.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am just as excited to see Aquaman as I am to see the rest of the Justice League. We’ve seen Batman and Superman over and over again, I think it’s time for some new DC characters to have their moment in the sun.
My thoughts are that he survives because he is Superman. No more is needed on that, if he can survive the battle at the end of the film, then he can survive a little oil rig explosion without help. What I would much rather see develop is that Aquaman and the Atlanteans are the cause of the oil rig explosion because of its pollution production. It would be much more fun to see them as enemies before they become friends. It would lead to more suspense and better battle scenes. And in response to Nick…Your mom
