‘Super Troopers 2’ Teaser Trailer Hits With Nostalgic Humor
“Super Troopers 2” teaser trailer debuts!
It’s been years since the premiere of the Broken Lizard cult comedy “Super Troopers” hit theaters. Now after a long wait and high anticipation, “Super Troopers 2” is finally on its way with a glimpse of what’s to come. The teaser trailer puts the gang back on the road with many familiar state trooper antics and is set to debut on April 20th aka 420 which should attract a “certain” targeted audience.
Many cult comedies have made sequels in hopes of recreating lightning in a bottle. We’ve seen it with “Anchorman” and “Zoolander” to name a few more recent comedies that had the sequel treatment. But while the sequels may continue the journey for fans, many times it turns out to be a lackluster experience. Hopefully when “Super Troopers 2” makes its theater debut, it is able to supplement rather than disappoint.
