Michael Moore’s ‘Fahrenheit 11/9’ Focuses On The Donald Trump Presidency
Michael Moore’s “11/9” targets the unstoppable Donald Trump.
Controversial filmmaker Michael Moore takes aim at the Donald Trump presidency in his upcoming documentary “Fahrenheit 11/9.” With President Bush being the focus of his similarly titled “Fahrenheit 9/11,” Moore hopes to make a dent in the support of President Trump by claiming to expose undeniable facts that should hinder his legitimacy.
“No matter what you throw at him, it hasn’t worked. No matter what is revealed, he remains standing. Facts, reality, brains cannot defeat him. Even when he commits a self-inflicted wound, he gets up the next morning and keeps going and tweeting… That all ends with this movie.”
The “11/9” title refers to the day that Donald Trump was declared President of the United States on November 9,
2016. The documentary is said to follow the same style of outrageous humor and anger that is Michael Moore’s signature on his documentaries.
Bob and Harvey Weinstein have secured the rights to “Fahrenheit 11/9” under their Fellowship Adventure Group. The group was also responsible for “Fahrenheit 9/11” and with worldwide rights acquired, the Weinsteins are hoping for the same success.
There is no release date as of yet for this Michael Moore documentary but there are already plans to distribute it to film festivals. TWC will be exploring international and domestic distribution starting this week in Cannes.
