‘An Inconvenient Sequel’ Clip Debuts With 9/11 Memorial Flood True Prediction
“An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” debuts at Sundance with an accurate prediction.
Kicking off the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” debuts with an eye opening clip. The clip below shows the 9/11 memorial site being flooded in 2012 during Hurricane Sandy. This was one of the most disputed claims in the first film “An Inconvenient Truth” and Al Gore points out how this prediction came true. Check out the clip below.
It’s been 10 years since the first film and given the surge of climate change awareness, “An Inconvenient Sequel” comes at a convenient time. Al Gore is said to get very passionate throughout this film. Having left much of his political career behind as former Vice President, Gore’s focus has relied more on the effects of climate change.
“An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” has already been picked up by Paramount for distribution. We can expect a wide release of the documentary later this year.
