ICYMI: ‘The Fate of the Furious’ Trailer Puts Dom Against His Family
The first trailer for “The Fate of the Furious” is here!
Just a couple of days after announcing “Fast 8’s” official title would be “The Fate of the Furious” (kudos on the restraint from calling it “F8 of the Furious”), the first full-length trailer has now been released. Now it appears that the crew will be facing off against their toughest opponent yet, their fearless leader Dominic Torretto (Vin Diesel).
One positive right off the bat is they appear to be making far better use of Dwayne Johnson than in ‘Furious 7’ and he appears to have plenty of action scenes this time around. While it’s likely few people actually believe Dom’s betrayal to be 100% real, putting Diesel in the somewhat villain role is certainly interesting. On the downside though, the trailer also highlights how pointless Roman continues to be.
