A Complete List of What Bill Clinton Watched While In Office

The most unexpected film fan ever.

It’s safe to assume that most Americans have at some point imagined themselves as the President of the United States.

What would it be like? So, it’s not too surprising that people are interested in what the actual President does with his spare time in the White House. This list was originally acquired by the site Gizmondo using the Freedom of Information Act and shows not only what Bill Clinton watched, but also the dates and everything. In the past it has been the books a President has been reading that get coverage. For instance, when“From Russia With Love” appeared on John F. Kennedy’s reading list, the producers of the James Bond series decided that it should be the next story to make into a film.

It’s not surprising given the many films that have screened at the White House for the President to watch. However it is amusing, to say the least, to imagine Bill Clinton sitting down to watch some of these. Then again it’s odd to think of him being a fan of his reportedly favorite movie, “High Noon.” So this obviously is just the current films he watched while in office as it has been reported several times that he apparently watched “High Noon” 17 times (some reports list even more than that) while in office. Now that’s a true fan. Fun Fact, “High Noon” is said to be the most requested film to be viewed by Presidents in office. In the grand scheme of things… a silly bit of “news”, but fun for movie lovers to compare themselves and their viewing habits to the President. Enjoy! Although, now I’m wondering what future lists we’ll undoubtedly see.
