‘Batman V Superman’ New Standoff Teaser Emerges
Batman and Superman standoff in this new “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” teaser.
We’ve known that Batman and Superman were going to square off since the Batman V Superman film got its title. But while we’ve seen them stare each other down in two trailers, this teaser trailer shows Batman at quite the disadvantage. Take a look at the teaser below.
The look in Superman’s eyes is quite menacing for the typically chilvalrous boyscout of a superhero. It makes one wonder what may have set him off or if he is actually in control at this point in the film.
What’s also interesting is the look in Batman’s eyes as Superman approaches. It starts with a look of fear then transforms into anger once Superman rips off Batman’s mask revealing Ben Affleck aka “Batfleck.”
Zack Snyder is taking the franchise in a different direction than other directors who have had their shot at the Man of Steel. He’s willingly gone darker with the character and this has some Superman purists upset. But despite the backlash from these fans, the buzz surrounding “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” remains high. People may show their dissent towards the film but interest is proven to be soaring with the continual rise in views from the trailers and it being a continual trending topic.
“Batman V Superman” is currently set for release on March 25, 2016.
