With so many TBAs, here are the confirmed exclusives for PS4!
There are a lot of anticipated games for the PS4. In addition to games being released cross platform, there are quite a few PS4 exclusives that have recently been confirmed for a 2017 release date. While some may be expected for 2017, we’re covering the games that have been officially confirmed.
35. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone
This is a PS4 port of the rhythm game “Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade.” It is similar to other rhythm games like “Guitar Hero,” “Rock Band,” and “Dance Dance Revolution.”

34. 2064: Read Only Memories
This is an expanded version of a 2015 release of the same name. This version includes full voice acting, new puzzles, and new writing.

33. Gravity Rush 2
This continues the story of the first game where you play as Kat going through the aerial city of Hekseville. As seen from the trailer, there is a vast improvement in the graphics and tweaks to the gameplay as well.

32. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
In preparation for the upcoming “Kingdom Hearts” sequel, this remastered version is filled with content. This is a collection of “Kingdom Hearts” games including a remaster of the “Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance” title. HD versions of previous titles aren’t this package’s only accolade, expanded content is included as well.

31. Tales of Berseria
This is an action-RPG where you play as a character named Velvet. Journeying across the kingdom of Midgand she is joined by a group of pirates for a story filled with an ample amount of cinematics to accompany gameplay.

30. Yakuza 0
As a prequel to the original “Yakuza,” you play as Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima as they make their way up through the rankings of the criminal underworld. This is set during 1988 and filled with action.

29. Double Dragon IV
Bringing back the nostalgia from the original NES title, “Double Dragon IV” takes Billy and Jimmy on a new journey. Classic gamers can look forward to the same side-scrolling, beat-em-up action!

28. Digimon World: Next Order
With the Pokemon craze being so rampant, many may have forgot about Digimon. This is the first Digimon title to reach the west in over 10 years. In “Digimon World: Next Order” you play as a high schooler sucked into the world to fight an army of Machinedramons.

27. Divide
This is an open-ended dungeon crawler that falls into the realm of sci-fi. You play as a widowed father named David, in search of his kidnapped daughter.

26. Nioh
From the Team Ninja, the studio that brought you “Ninja Gaiden,” comes “Nioh.” Many are saying this shares similarities with the “Dark Souls” series and with Team Ninja behind it, expect the game to be challenging.

25. Horizon: Zero Dawn
This has been one of the more anticipated games for 2017. We got a glimpse at E3 and fans reveled in its visual glory. This may be one of the key games to show off the improvements of the PS4 Pro.

24. Nier Automata
This is a sequel to the cult classic, action-rpg released in 2010. Taking place after the events of the first game, you play a powerful android soldier going up against mechanical based enemies.

23. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
The PS4 is really banking on the “Kingdom Hearts” franchise and preparing you with yet another collection. As a remastered version of the original PS3 titles, this collection along with “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue” should have you contextually prepared for the upcoming “Kingdom Hearts 3.”

22. MLB The Show 17
“The Show” franchise has been regarded as the epitome of baseball games. With new mechanics and new graphics, this game should appease many sports fans looking to be interactively involved with the 2017 MLB season.

21. Danganronpa 1•2 Reload
This is another PS4 exclusive collection for a select group of gamers. From the sounds of it, it doesn’t sound like much more than a port, but fans of “Danganronpa” will be excited to pick up their copies for another play through.

20. Persona 5
Probably the most significant franchise in the Shin Megami Tensei realm, “Persona 5” brings fans more of what they’ve come to love. Again the story followers high schoolers moonlighting as supernatural cat burglars.

19. The Silver Case
This is another remaster coming to PS4. For those not familiar with the game, it follows an odd series of murders and detectives investigating them. It’s a unique style of gameplay falling into the realm of “visual novelization.”

18. Dragon Quest Heroes II
This is the latest mashup series between “Dragon Quest” and “Dynasty Warriors.” Compared to the first mashup, this one improves in the realm of multiplayer allowing for 4 players to join online with the ability to transform into monsters before battling it out.

17. Birthdays: The Beginning
For those that love open sandbox style gaming, this may be right up your alley. From the creator of “Harvest Moon” Yasuhiro Wada, this game is being described as a colorful, easy-to-play, god game.

16. Ace Combat 7
This may be one of the most exciting games in the lineup for Playstation VR players. “Ace Combat 7” touts a proven record with its franchise and if the visuals translate well to virtual reality, we could see a rise in VR owners.

15. Boundless
This is another sandbox style game that is venturing into MMO territory. With a first-person style approach, the key element of this game is the portal mechanic allowing you to place doors to take you to other worlds.

14. Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy
PS4 is highlighting franchise characters with their collections. In this Crash Bandicoot trilogy, players will get the original 3 games in the series in remastered form.

13. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony
Following the re-release of the first 2 games, comes a third in the series. This will continue the flow of its predecessors with a conflict between two groups of students ensuing in a battle royale style of violence and logic.

12. Death’s Gambit
This is another dungeon crawler described as being like “Dark Souls” but in 2D, side-scrolling fashion.

11. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age
While many fans are anxiously awaiting the Final Fantasy VII remaster, they will not have to wait long for this other remastered version in the franchise. Fans who pick up this game will be getting an added bonus in addition to the HD remaster. This version will be the International Zodiac Job System edition which is an expanded version of the game that was only released in Japan.

10. Gran Turismo Sport
Playstation would not be what it is without the “Gran Turismo” franchise. With the long awaited “Gran Turismo Sport” on the way, fans are hoping for the signature, stunning graphics and gameplay that made them originally fall in love with the series. Just look at the trailer, it’s absolutely stunning. Hopefully we can get a solid date outside of its current TBA status.

9. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
Ninja Theory, the developer behind “DmC: Devil May Cry” and “Heavenly Sword” shows off more of what’s to come with this title. Fans will enjoy the historical value with the game’s story being based in Celtic mythology. You play as Senua, a warrior on a journey through a dark underworld. There is a lot of potential behind this game, hopefully it can live up to the hype.

8. Nex Machina: Death Machine
This falls into the realm of twin stick shooters. Think of games like “Smash TV” (for the classic gamers) or “Robotron: 2084” for an idea of what’s in store.

7. Nidhogg 2
This is a sequel to the original game adding new weapons, new abilities, and new visuals. Fans of the original, quirky side scroller can continue the fun with this upcoming title.

6. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
This is a sequel to the highly regarded RPG “Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.” This sequel continues the story in a sense but the focus is on a brand new set of characters. With many of the mechanics expected to be similar to the original, the story will take the character on a journey through Ding Dong Dell battling evil.

5. PaRappa the Rapper Remastered
Another remastered classic this time coming from the original Playstation lineup. So put on your nostalgia caps and get ready to spit some hot fire with PaRappa!

4. Shenmue III
Regarded as one of the best games for Sega Dreamcast, the “Shenmue” RPG series is finally seeing its third game heading to PS4. This will continue Ryo Hazuki’s journey of searching for his father’s killer but instead of taking place in Japan, this time he will be making his way to China.

3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
The “Uncharted” series is what defined the PS3 for many. After making its way to PS4 with “A Thief’s End,” the next anticipated game in the series is “The Lost Legacy.” The trailer above gives us an idea of what to expect and highlights the gameplay that we look forward to.

2. What Remains of Edith Finch
This adventure game is filled with story and surrounded by mystery. As the last surviving member of the Finch family, Edith must discover the truth about her family while facing dark challenges along the way.

1. Wipeout: Omega Collection
PS4 is supplementing their 2017 lineup with quite a few remasters, but the 4K revamp for “Wipeout” is something I’m personally looking forward to. This was the first game on the original Playstation that caught my eye for visuals and the trailer looks absolutely stunning.
